- CNC engraved stars on a found kitchen plate covered in faux granite Formica, cockroach poison
The granite-imitation Formica surface of a derelict kitchen worktop, salvaged by the artist from the streets of Brussels, has been engraved with a pattern of stars. In the slab’s fake stone there open the geometries that once held the sink and the hob and are now pure forms in the vault of heaven; perhaps our most personal and domestic dimension, too, is mysteriously pervaded by the rational order of the cosmos.
